A Practice
Experiences do not arrive by consent. The Cosmos does as it wills. Once it arrives, it is mine. A gift given. It is Life Force.
The trickery, always ours, foils our understandings of the experience. Understanding our experiences happen over time and lots of meditation. Initial reaction to most experiences, as I now understand, are instinctive. The import is immediately missed by me, the student.
Flawed pattern recognition is often the culprit. It is easy for me to think, oh no, not again and, then, I think I see, continuations of old patterns. Wisdom is elusive.
The lesson here is, it might take decades to learn what I am being taught and then another decade to formulate a reply. And then, finally, to take the action. Those are the steps, I think, that are in both the seen and unseen worlds.
Understanding that my experience is in both worlds has been a late arriving understanding. However, it is only, as I can tell, Image that is able to go in both realms. Using meditation as a tool to create an Image from experience is simple and powerful. Image is the ship which I must launch.
Another “kind of experience” is experience generated by stories and narratives. Some might call them incantations and spells. Those are incitements, ruses and lures that cater to our desires. Included, of course, is AI. Our desire activated, we lunge into quests of personal destiny far from the Calling of the Divine. Usurping the Call of the Cosmos, we craft our own experiences.
